Maxima’s MAV22 Thermostatic Air Vent Series is designed for automatic removal of air and non condensable gases from steam systems of jacketed vessels, vulcanisers, jacketed sterilisers and other heat exchangers. The heart of the air vent is the thermostatic capsule that responds to temperature changes and opens and close the capsules accordingly. Air and non-condensable gases are automatically vented slightly below the steam temperature irrespective of the pressure range.
